The HR Conclave titled ‘HR in the Wonderland of Digitalization’, brought together numerous corporate delegates, professionals and academicians under one roof for a healthy, open exchange of ideas to chart the future course of the HR industry. The event was inaugurated at the hands of Sunita Mhaiskar and director, DMIMS, Dr Shiney Chib. Eminent speaker vice president, HR, L&T Metro, Hyderabad, Sanjay Kumar stressed on power of abundance, how to face digital world, problems, possibilities and its solutions, to inculcate digital mindset, contribute more on solutions and possibilities and to bring leadership in oneself.Sameer Bendre, Chief Human Resource Officer, Global Head, Mr. Atul Pande, Chairman, Vidarbha Industrial Association were the other eminent speakers who shared their experiences in the conclave. Topic  Outcome Based Education (OBE)

The workshop emphasized on the need and importance of adopting OBE as a sytem in institutions in order to achieve the learning objectives. Methods and means of designing a course and planning instructional modules based on OBE was explained to the participants. The session on Learning and assessments highlighted the various assessment techniques to understand the learner’s knowledge of the course being taught and measurement of the attainment of the objectives of learning was discussed. The workshop received an overwhelming response from the teaching community of Nagpur

The basic objective of the conclave is to provide a platform to various industry leaders, managers, academicians, research scholars and students, to exchange ideas how organizations plans to face various challenges and grab different opportunities to cope up with the “War for Talent.” In the panel discussion covered various aspects of HR Recruitment Policies of the companies, concept of CTC, issue of fresher versus experienced, gender discrimination talent retention, attrition and various other recent.

The primary objective of the workshop is to provide a platform to student of the vidharbha region to interact and share the experience with the leader of today to understand the tomorrow strategy better. Dr. Agnihotri also threw light on the basic concept & finer nuances of Enquiry method of learning. He further mentioned that this method emphasizes constructive ideas of learning, where knowledge is built from experience and process, especially socially based experience.

The workshop was organized with a view to develop entrepreneurial skill and enrich entrepreneurial ability among the management students. Mr. Rangaswamy threw light on the various facets of entrepreneurial thinking and explained finer nuances about the development of entrepreneurial skills and ability in this modern competitive business era. He also mentioned how an individual can make the best use of the situations & grab the opportunities around him in order to become a successful entrepreneur. This is for the first time in the history of Central India, that a workshop was organized by a management institute in association with IIT Bombay.
