Industry–Institutional Visit to District Industries Centre, Nagpur
MBA students of Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies (DMIMS) participated in an industry–institutional visit to the District Industries Centre (DIC), Nagpur on 21 November 2025 under the Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC). The visit was designed to provide students with structured exposure to institutional mechanisms that support industrial development and MSME facilitation.
Officials from DIC, Nagpur briefed the students on key government schemes and support frameworks, including PMEGP and CMEGP, Udyam Registration, subsidy structures, loan procedures, documentation requirements, and the overall role of DIC in promoting and supporting industries at the district level.
The visit was coordinated under the Industry Institute Partnership Cell by Mr. Pratik Kodmalwar, IIPC In-Charge, along with Mr. Imran Khan and Dr. Vijay Uprikar, under the guidance of Director Dr. Vaishali Rahate, reinforcing DMIMS’s commitment to meaningful industry–institution collaboration and experiential learning.

Industry–Institutional Visit to Audit Bhavan, Nagpur
Under the Industry–Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies (DMIMS) organized an industry–institutional visit to the Audit Bhavan (Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General), Nagpur on 24 November 2025. The visit was aimed at providing students with practical exposure to large-scale public sector financial governance and audit institutions.
Officials from the CAG office interacted with the students and explained the end-to-end government audit process, institutional workflows, compliance frameworks, and handling of real audit cases. The visit offered insights into how extensive public financial operations are monitored through structured systems, professional standards, and rigorous quality controls, comparable to large private-sector organizations.
The visit was conducted under the guidance of Director Dr. Vaishali Rahate and coordinated by IIPC In-Charge Mr. Pratik Kodmalwar, along with Mr. Imran Khan, highlighting DMIMS’s emphasis on institutional exposure and industry-relevant learning.

Industry Visit to Vasudhara Dairy – 8th August 2025
The MBA Second Year students of Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies visited Vasudhara Dairy (Amul), Hingna, Nagpur, on 8th August 2025. The visit was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Vaishali Rahate, Director, and coordinated by IIPC In-Charge, Mr. Pratik Kodmalwar as part of the institute’s industry–academia engagement initiatives.
The session began at 11:00 AM, with a warm welcome by AGM Mr. Ravindra Balpande and Supervisor Mr. Mahesh Darande. They provided detailed insights into the dairy’s operations — from milk procurement and quality testing to processing, packaging, and distribution. Students also witnessed live demonstrations of the various stages of production, enabling them to relate classroom concepts to real-world practices.
This visit enriched students’ understanding of supply chain management, quality control measures, and technological applications in the dairy industry, while offering valuable perspectives on the cooperative business model followed by Amul.
The institute extends its gratitude to Mr. Ravindra Balpande and Mr. Mahesh Darand for their time, expertise, and hospitality.
